El crecimiento del E-commerce en Latinoam\u00e9rica, estimado en 17% entre 2014 y 2019, s\u00f3lo es superado por la regi\u00f3n As\u00eda-Pac\u00edfico; esto hace relevante conocer a detalle la situaci\u00f3n de la regi\u00f3n en t\u00e9rminos de E-commerce y qu\u00e9 representa esto para consumidores e inversionistas, por igual.<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Mercadolibre, el l\u00edder del E-commerce en Latinoam\u00e9rica<\/span><\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Del mismo en que eBay se catapult\u00f3 a la cima del mercado a principios de la d\u00e9cada pasada, Mercadolibre lo hace ahora con los latinos. A partir de la explotaci\u00f3n del modelo propuesto por eBay, Mercadolibre ha logrado algo que parec\u00eda dif\u00edcil hace s\u00f3lo algunos a\u00f1os: generar confianza en el p\u00fablico, lo suficiente, al menos, para que se acerquen a plataformas de comercio electr\u00f3nico. Mercadolibre no s\u00f3lo se desempe\u00f1a como sitio de E-commerce, sino que expandi\u00f3 sus servicios para ofrecer una versi\u00f3n tropicalizada de PayPal, MercadoPago y decidi\u00f3 incluir un servicio de paqueter\u00eda, MercadoEnv\u00edo. En el \u00faltimo cuatrimestre del a\u00f1o pasado, la compa\u00f1\u00eda vio un incremento de 12% en ingresos, lo que lo llev\u00f3 a una cifra por encima de los $180 millones de d\u00f3lares, lo doble de lo que los analistas financieros estimaron. Mercadolibre tiene presencia en las econom\u00edas m\u00e1s importantes de la regi\u00f3n, Brasil, M\u00e9xico y Argentina, pa\u00edses en donde, a pesar de la desaceleraci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica de los \u00faltimos periodos, Mercadolibre ha visto un repunte en sus ventas.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Situaci\u00f3n actual del E-commerce en la regi\u00f3n<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Brasil sigue siendo el l\u00edder indisputable de E-commerce en el subcontinente. De los m\u00e1s de $47 mil millones de d\u00f3lares en ventas, el pa\u00eds sudamericano es responsable por 42%. Por su parte, M\u00e9xico se posiciona en segundo lugar con poco m\u00e1s de 12%, pero se estima que supere 15% para 2019.
